Swiss Steak - Crock Pot

Ingredients
2 Lbs. round steak (at least 1/2 inch thick)
Salt
Pepper
1-2 Onions
1 Can cream of mushroom (or celery) soup
Mashed potatoes

Directions
Cut round steak into serving size pieces.
Salt and pepper the meat.
Slice onions.
Open a can of cream of mushroom soup.
In crock pot, layer meat, onion, soup; repeat.
Cook about 8-10 hours.
Give it a good stir when you get home in case the soup has lumps.
Serve with mashed potatoes.

Variations
Add mushrooms at the same time as onions.
